Florence Christian Eagles (Florence, SC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 28. Florence Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Barons go into the battle with a 8-6 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Pee Dee Academy (Mullins, SC).

The Chargers (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC). The Hurricanes go into the SCISA AAAA Region III battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, First Baptist School was edged by Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC), 3-2, in a league challenge.
