Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX), 16-5 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 12-18 record. They take the field next when they host Venus for a 4A Region II District 10 challenge on Friday, April 21. Alvarado will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Kennedale (Kennedale, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Life Waxahachie moves to 4-13 on the season. The Mustangs host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX) to face the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 10 match on Friday, April 21. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 3-14. Hillsboro lost 12-1 in their recent league match against Godley (Godley, TX)
