The Andrew Jackson Volunteers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting North Central Knights to 0 in the Volunteers league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Andrew Jackson improves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Volunteers host McBee (McBee, SC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, April 20. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 3-6.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Chesterfield Golden Rams (Chesterfield, SC) in a AA Region 5 game, on Friday, April 21. North Central will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
