The Argyle Eagles routed the host Grapevine Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 7-1 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Eagles (25-5) will now prepare for their battle against Denton (Denton, TX). The Broncos go into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Denton was routed by Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX), 12-2, in a league battle.
The Mustangs now possess a 21-9 record. They play next when they host Richland for a 5A Region I District 7 battle on Friday, April 21. Grapevine will meet a Royals squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Ryan (Denton, TX). The Royals record now stands at 13-9.
