Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) and the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), witnessed Crest's softball squad prevail over Ashbrook by a count of 16-0.

The Chargers now sport a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a Big South 3A match on Thursday, April 20. Crest will meet a Storm squad coming off a 17-4 league win over South Point (Belmont, NC). The Storm record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Ashbrook moves to 2-11 on the season. The Greenwave travel to Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Jaguars in a Big South 3A match on Friday, April 21. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 10-7. Forestview won 17-1 in their recent non-league match against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
