The Barnesville Shamrocks softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Union Local Jets to 1 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Barnesville improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH) to clash with the Seminoles in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAA game on Wednesday, April 19. The Seminoles come into the game with a record of 10-7. Monroe Central lost 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Linsly (Wheeling, WV)

In their next game, the Jets clash with the Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 19. Union Local will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record.
