Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL), 8-6 in a league challenge.

The Storm now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kewanee for a Three Rivers East challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Bureau Valley will battle a Boilermakers squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Kewanee falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Boilermakers host Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL) to battle the Storm in a Three Rivers East challenge on Tuesday, April 18.
