Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lowell Red Arrows (Lowell, MI), 7-5 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Oakridge for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20.

With the loss, Lowell falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Red arrows travel to Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI) to face the Squires in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Squires enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Calvin Christian won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI)
