The Emmett Huskies (Emmett, ID) softball the host Caldwell Cougars (Caldwell, ID), 2-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Huskies (8-7) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID). The Knights go into the 4A Southern Idaho bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, Bishop Kelly held off Columbia (Nampa, ID), 12-2, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgevue for a 4A Southern Idaho bout on Thursday, April 20. Caldwell will confront a Warhawks squad coming off a 13-4 league loss to Skyview (Nampa, ID). The Warhawks record now stands at 4-13.
