Northmor Golden Knights (Galion, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cardington-Lincoln Pirates (Cardington, OH), 6-4 in a league challenge.

The Golden Knights now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a Knox Morrow Athletic challenge on Wednesday, April 19. Northmor will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Utica (Utica, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Cardington-Lincoln falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host East Knox (Howard, OH) to face the Bulldogs in a Knox Morrow Athletic challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 10-2. East Knox won 10-7 in their recent league challenge against Fredericktown (Fredericktown, OH)
