In Tuesday's league outing, the host Diboll Lumberjacks softball team scored a nice 10-0 triumph over the Newton Eagles.
With the triumph, Diboll moves its record to 15-14 on the year. The Lumberjacks travel to Huntington (Huntington, TX) to play the Red Devils in a 3A Region III District 21 contest on Friday, April 21. The Red Devils come into the contest with a record of 9-6. In their next game, the Eagles play the Woodville Eagles (Woodville, TX) in a 3A Region III District 21 contest, on Friday, April 21. Newton will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 11-2 league loss to Pollok Central (Pollok, TX).
