Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Elma Eagles (Elma, WA), 17-7 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Montesano for a 1A Evergreen challenge on Thursday, April 20. Hoquiam will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Tenino (Tenino, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Elma falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Eatonville (Eatonville, WA) to face the Cruisers in a 1A Evergreen challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Cruisers enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Eatonville lost 19-2 in their recent league challenge against Montesano (Montesano, WA)
