The Lunenburg Central Chargers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Franklin Broncos to 0 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Lunenburg Central moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Chargers travel to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to play the Knights in a James River game on Thursday, April 20. The Knights come into the game with a record of 6-1. Buckingham won 6-4 in their recent league game against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA)

In their next game, the Broncos play the Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 21. Franklin will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Dukes come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 17-1 league loss to Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA).
