San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA), 9-1 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rancho Dominguez for a Marine challenge on Thursday, April 20. San Pedro will battle a Lobos squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Banning (Wilmington, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Gardena falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Narbonne (Harbor City, CA) to battle the Gauchos in a Marine challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Gauchos enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Narbonne lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Carson (Carson, CA)
