North Carolina High School Softball - Grimsley bounces Ragsdale

The Grimsley Whirlies routed the visiting Ragsdale Tigers softball squad by a count of 20-4 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Whirlies (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets go into the Metro 4A battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Western Guilford was routed by Page (Greensboro, NC), 25-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a Metro 4A battle on Friday, April 21. Ragsdale will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Page (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 13-3.
