In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) softball team overwhelmed the host Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS), by a margin of 16-1.
With the triumph, Hancock moves its record to 17-3 on the year.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS) in a 6A Region 7 contest, on Wednesday, April 19. Pascagoula will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a 9-17 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Fairhope (Fairhope, AL).
