West Jordan Jaguars (West Jordan, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Herriman Mustangs (West Herriman, UT), 10-9 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Ridge for a 6A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, April 20. West Jordan will face a Sentinels squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Bingham (South Jordan, UT). The Sentinels record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Herriman falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT) to face the Grizzlies in a 6A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Copper Hills won 21-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Granger (West Valley City, UT)
