North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC), 21-1 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Charter for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. North Lincoln will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Hickory falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Red tornadoes travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to battle the Indians in a Western Foothills 3A challenge on Friday, April 21. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 8-10. St. Stephens won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Freedom (Morganton, NC)
