Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) and the visiting Williamsburg Blue Pirates (Williamsburg, PA), witnessed Juniata Valley's softball squad tip Williamsburg by a count of 9-4.

The Hornets now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Curwensville for a Moshannon Valley match on Thursday, April 20. Juniata Valley will face a Golden Tide squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Purchase Line (Commodore, PA). The Golden Tide record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Williamsburg moves to 2-6 on the season. The Blue pirates travel to Glendale (Flinton, PA) to face the Vikings in a Moshannon Valley match on Thursday, April 20. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 9-2. Glendale won 15-0 in their recent non-league match against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA)
