California High School Softball - Leland bounces Pioneer

April 18, 2023: San Jose, CA 95120

Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Gilroy for a Mount Hamilton challenge on Thursday, April 20. Leland will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Pioneer falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to face the Saints in a Mount Hamilton challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 9-8. Santa Teresa lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Willow Glen (San Jose, CA)
