In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Mayde Creek Rams softball squad scored a tight 6-1 win over the Morton Ranch Mavericks.

The Rams now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host Cinco Ranch for a 6A Region III District 19 challenge on Saturday, April 22. Mayde Creek will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Seven Lakes (Katy, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, Morton Ranch falls to 5-17 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Jordan (Fulshear, TX) to battle the Warriors in a 6A Region III District 19 challenge on Friday, April 21. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 11-14. Jordan lost 13-5 in their recent league challenge against Tompkins (Katy, TX)
