South Carolina High School Softball - Midland Valley holds off North Augusta

The Midland Valley Mustangs the visiting North Augusta Yellow Jackets softball squad by a count of 3-1 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Mustangs (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Yellow Jackets go into the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, North Augusta nudged Chapin (Chapin, SC), 6-2, in a non-league battle.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Chapin for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 19. North Augusta will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 14-4.
