With the triumph, Porter moves its record to 20-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, TX) to play the Hornets in a 5A Region II District 16 contest on Saturday, April 22. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 21-11. Huntsville lost 8-1 in their recent league contest against Dayton (Dayton, TX)

In their next game, the Dragons play the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 contest, on Friday, April 21. Nacogdoches will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 15-15 record after their 9-1 league loss to Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX).
