North Carolina High School Softball - Trinity loses to Providence Grove

The Providence Grove Patriots softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Trinity Bulldogs to 1 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Providence Grove improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Storm in a non-league game on Thursday, April 20. The Storm come into the game with a record of 10-4. Southern Guilford won 21-0 in their recent league game against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game, on Friday, April 21. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 5-12 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC).
