Kentucky High School Softball - Rockcastle County gets by Pulaski County

The Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) softball nipped the host Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Rockets (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 4-15 record. In their last bout, Mercer County was edged by East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 9-0, in a league bout.

The Maroons now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Whitley County for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 20. Pulaski County will confront a Colonels squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 5-16.
