The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH) and the host River Pilots (Hannibal, OH), saw Shenandoah's softball squad nip River by a count of 8-6.

The Zeps now sport a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Shadyside for a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. Shenandoah will face a Tigers squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Linsly (Wheeling, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, River falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Pilots travel to Fort Frye (Beverly, OH) to face the Cadets in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAA match on Wednesday, April 19. The Cadets enter the match with a record of 6-5. Fort Frye lost 14-5 in their recent non-league match against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV)
