The West Florence Knights baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Andrew Jackson Volunteers to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.
The Knights (15-5) will now prepare for their match against Wilson (Florence, SC). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 6 match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Wilson was overwhelmed by West Florence (Florence, SC), 8-0, in a league match.
The Volunteers (2-13) will now prepare for their match against Central (Pageland, SC). The Eagles go into the 2A Region 5 match with a 1-10 record. In their last match, Central was overwhelmed by McBee (McBee, SC), 11-1, in a non-league match.
