The Clear Spring Blazers baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Catoctin Cougars to 4 in the Blazers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Blazers (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Williamsport (Williamsport, MD). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Williamsport was edged by Brunswick (Brunswick, MD), 11-2, in a league match.
The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Middletown (Middletown, MD). The Knights go into the CMC match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Middletown edged Walkersville (Walkersville, MD), 12-1, in a league match.
