California High School Baseball - Highland loses to Centennial

April 18, 2024: Bakersfield, CA 93306

The Centennial Golden Hawks crushed the host Highland Scots baseball team by a count of 13-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Golden Hawks now possess a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host Tulare Western for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 20. Centennial will face a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Dinuba (Dinuba, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-10.

Next, the Scots face the Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA) in a South Yosemite - Valley bout, on Tuesday, April 23. Highland will attempt to move on its 10-11 season record. The Drillers enter the bout with a 3-18 record after their 8-5 league win over Independence (Bakersfield, CA).
