Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Reservoir 'Gators (Fulton, MD), 7-6 in a league test.

With the win, Glenelg upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Howard (Ellicott City, MD) to battle the Lions in a Howard County test on Friday, April 19. The Lions come into the test with a record of 7-5. Howard won 14-1 in their recent league game against Hammond (Columbia, MD)

The 'Gators (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Long Reach (Columbia, MD). The Lightning go into the Howard County game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Long Reach tipped Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD), 7-5, in a league game.
