In Thursday's league game, the host Harrisburg Hornets baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Piggott Mohawks.
The Hornets (17-7) will now prepare for their game against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league game with a 8-8 record. In their last game, Cross County was overwhelmed by Rector (Rector, AR), 15-4, in a league game.
The Mohawks (4-14) will now prepare for their game against Armorel (Armorel, AR). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Armorel tipped Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR), 10-6, in a league game.
