The Parkersburg South Patriots baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Linsly Cadets to 5 in the Patriots league victory on Thursday.
The Patriots (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Timberwolves go into the non-league match with a 13-5 record. In their last match, Spring Valley was overwhelmed by Ripley (Ripley, WV), 9-3, in a league match.
The Cadets (10-6) will now prepare for their match against Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH). The Pioneers go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Western Reserve Academy edged Hawken (Gates Mills, OH), 6-4, in a non-league match.
