Kentucky High School Baseball - Metcalfe County loses to Russell County

The Russell County Lakers crushed the host Metcalfe County Hornets baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Lakers now possess a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Warren for a non-league bout on Friday, April 19. Russell County will face a Spartans team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 12-9.

Next, the Hornets face the Hart County Raiders (Munfordville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 20. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record.
