In Thursday's league game, the visiting Miyamura Patriots baseball team scored a tight 10-7 victory over the Shiprock Chieftains.
The Patriots (2-14) will now prepare for their game against Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bengals go into the 4A District 1 game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Gallup by Aztec (Aztec, NM), 13-3, in a league game.
The Chieftains (5-11) will now prepare for their game against Thoreau (Thoreau, NM). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 1-12 record. In their last game, Thoreau by Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM), 14-2, in a non-league game.
