Rhode Island High School Baseball - Tolman gets by Rogers

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Tolman Tigers (Pawtucket, RI) and the host Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), saw Tolman's baseball squad beat Rogers by a margin of 8-5.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Classical Purple (Providence, RI) in a Division 3 battle, on Friday, April 19. Tolman will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Purple enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 league loss to Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI).

The Vikings now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hope for a Division 3 battle on Friday, April 19. Rogers will play a Blue Wave squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI). The Blue Wave record now stands at 2-3.
