The Deerfield Warriors held off the visiting Glenbrook North Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Warriors now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Trier for a non-league test on Thursday, April 25. Deerfield will confront a Trevians team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 2-0.
The Spartans (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Ramblers enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Loyola Academy was nudged by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
