The Nevada Union Miners topped the host Placer Hillmen volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Miners now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakmont for a test on Tuesday, April 23. Nevada Union will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-8.

The Hillmen (2-13) will now prepare for their test against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers enter the test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, West Park gained a win over Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA), 2-1, in a league test.
