In Thursday's league battle, the host Walther Christian Academy Broncos volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Northtown Pumas.
The Broncos (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Plainfield East achieved victory over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
