The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Sunnyside Wildcats (Fresno, CA) and the host Torres Toros (Madera, CA), saw Sunnyside's volleyball squad beat Torres by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Sunnyside upgrades its record to 14-15 on the year. The Wildcats host Golden Valley (Merced, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, April 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Golden Valley won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Atwater (Atwater, CA)

The Toros now own a 15-19 record. They play next when they travel to Sanger West for a North Yosemite bout on Tuesday, April 23. Torres will play a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 20-11.
