The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the host Panther Creek Catamounts to 9 in the Patriots league win on Thursday.
The Patriots (12-3) will now prepare for their game against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps go into the Southwest Wake game with a 3-14 record. In their last game, Cary was overwhelmed by Millbrook (Raleigh, NC), 19-5, in a non-league game.
The Catamounts (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the Southwest Wake game with a 15-1 record. In their last game, Holly Springs nudged Cary (Cary, NC), 23-6, in a league game.
