The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) and the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), saw Hickory's lacrosse team top Patton by a margin of 17-3.

The Red Tornadoes (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Rams enter the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, T.C. Roberson beat Watauga (Boone, NC), 14-3, in a league challenge.

The Panthers (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights enter the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, North Lincoln was overwhelmed by St. Stephens (Hickory, NC), 11-10, in a league challenge.
