The Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) baseball trounced the host Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ), 16-2 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Nighthawks encounter the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 19. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Colts come into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 17-1 league win over Cienega (Vail, AZ).

The Mountain Lions now sport a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Tucson High Magnet School for a non-league contest on Monday, April 22. Mountain View will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 12-3.
