In Thursday's non-league test, the host Middletown Islanders lacrosse squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Cranston West Falcons.
The Islanders now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Kingstown for a non-league test on Thursday, April 25.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 23. Cranston West will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 17-3 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
