The Carroll Chargers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets to 0 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Carroll moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Chargers travel to South Adams (Berne, IN) to clash with the Starfires in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 24. The Starfires come into the game with a record of 0-1. South Adams lost 8-4 in their recent league game against Bluffton (Bluffton, IN)

In their next game, the Cadets clash with the Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 19. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN).
