California High School Softball - Oak Ridge holds off Folsom

April 18, 2024: El Dorado Hills, CA 95762

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) and the visiting Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA), witnessed Oak Ridge's softball squad tip Folsom by a count of 10-8.

The Trojans now sport a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Ponderosa for a non-league match on Saturday, April 20. Oak Ridge will face a Bruins squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Folsom moves to 8-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to face the Golden Eagles in a match on Tuesday, April 23. The Golden Eagles go into the match with a record of 14-6. Del Oro won 19-6 in their recent league match against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA)
