The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Crean Lutheran Saints (Irvine, CA) and the host El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), saw Crean Lutheran's lacrosse team top El Modena by a margin of 16-0.

The Saints (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs enter the Crestview challenge with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Esperanza was overwhelmed by Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA), 6-2, in a non-league outing.

With the defeat, El Modena drops to 5-9 on the season. The Vanguards travel to El Dorado (Placentia, CA) to battle the Golden Hawks in a Crestview outing on Wednesday, April 24. The Golden Hawks go into the outing with a record of 8-5. El Dorado lost 20-2 in their recent league outing against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA)
