Virginia High School Lacrosse - Rockingham drops to New Covenant

New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Rockingham MudDogs (Weyers Cave, VA), 13-8 in a non-league battle.
The Gryphons now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Covenant for a VISAA Division 2 battle on Friday, April 26.
In their next game, the MudDogs clash with the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) in a WVSLA -DII East battle, on Friday, April 19. Rockingham will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Applemen come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 14-1 league win over Preston (Kingwood, WV).
