West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host West Morris Central Wolfpack (Chester, NJ), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Knights now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope John XXIII for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. West Essex will clash with a squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Randolph (Randolph, NJ). The record now stands at 3-4.

In their next game, the Wolfpack clash with the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) in a Waterman battle, on Tuesday, April 23. West Morris Central will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Minutemen come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 11-9 league loss to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ).
