Virginia High School Soccer - Salem knocks off Lord Botetourt

Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a River Ridge challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Salem will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record.
The Cavaliers now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northside for a Blue Ridge challenge on Friday, April 19. Lord Botetourt will confront a Vikings team coming off a 5-1 league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.
