Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA), 19-7 in a league challenge.

The Dons now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Monte Vista for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Acalanes will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Concord falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Archie Williams (San Anselmo, CA) to battle the Peregrine Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Peregrine Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Archie Williams won 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA)
